Harllee offers many opportunities

I
Based on my past experience as a PTO president and school volunteer, I'd say it is rare to see so many teachers and administrators taking such a proactive interest in so many students:

"Mr. Graham" has students conducting school tours for community leaders. "Mr. Smith" has students building reef balls and scuba diving. "Mrs. Chambers" has my son excelling in leadership and public speaking while pursuing his primary interest, technology. "Mr. Royce" and the Boys and Girls Club provide constructive and popular before- and after-school activities for hundreds of students who choose to participate.

Manatee County students who have the opportunity to attend Harllee Middle School should consider themselves lucky. Parents should open their eyes and look at the big picture instead of a single letter grade based on one test.
