Breaking the mold.

Charlie Watts sprays off the freshly peeled reef balls to bring out the proper texture. The surface that didn't harden (thanks to the sugar water) is removed, exposing rough substrate–the favorite of little reef dwellers–and allowing for their easy attachment to their new homes.
